It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to recommend environmental, peace, and justice singer/ songwriter Jay Mankita. We recently engaged Jay for a musical presentation as part of National Arbor Day/Earth Week celebration held in conjunction with a fine arts exhibition. The particular use of humor in the song lyrics in dealing with serious environmental topics made for a fun but informative program, accessible to all ages. His exceptional rapport with children is also a wonderful asset. In addition, Jay is dependable and well organized with a pleasant personality, making him a joy to work with. l am delighted to recommend Jay Mankita without any reservations whatsoever. The inclusion of a performance by him would be of worth to any program. - Anne R. Fabbri, Director, The Noyes Museum

l have had the distinct pleasure of listening to a number of fine performances by musician/educator Jay Mankita. Jay brings warmth, humor and an amazing amount of energy to each of his performances. Many of his songs have environmental themes that inform rather than preach. He is an extremely talented performer who has reached thousands with his message of care for our environment. He would be a great addition to any conference or stand alone concert. - Judith Enck, Sr. Environmental Associate New York Public Interest Research Group
