Some letters of appreciation about:
'Halloween Afternoon'

Home | Concerts for Adults | Children's Programs |
| Quotes & Reviews | Newsletter | CDs & Tapes

A dynamic concert program
of sing-along songs, scare-along stories, and participatory poems.
All guaranteed to scare you just enough (but not too much).

This concert has plenty of skeletons, ghosts, and monsters, but the focus also shifts to songs, stories, and anecdotes about kids and other folks making a real difference in creating a safer, less scary world.

This show can be tied in with other Halloween events, and kids
are encouraged to wear their costumes to the show!

Pieces include:

HALLOWEEN AFTERNOON
Two boys, while trick or treating, learn not to judge a book by its cover.

SKELETON BOP
Wriggling and jiggling, like a bowl of gelatin...Don't be afraid, it's just your skeleton.

THE MAN WHO WAS AFRAID OF NOTHING
A skeletal tale of the Brule Sioux.

THE MONSTER MASH
The old classic done with style.

I'M NOT SCARED
A song that really gives permission to go ahead and be a little scared.

X'S REPORT
Featuring a robotic big-brained, long-armed future human.

ARE YOU LOATHESOME TONIGHT?
A song for my Mummy.

Fantastic!! Great combination of stories, songs and audience involvement! Thank you for a delightful Halloween treat.
- Patricia Messina, 1st grade, Herman Ave. Elementary

This program was quite creative and gave the students some ideas for their own creative endeavors in writing about and doing puppet shows related to Halloween. I liked the peace message and the rhyming words participation.
- RoseAnn Reilly, 3rd grade, Clinton Ave. Elementary

The children and I enjoyed the performance. The songs and stories were age appropriate and captivating. Halloween's ghosts and goblins can be frightening for the younger children. Your songs will surely erase their fears.

I thought it was a great, fun way to bring up topics such as the environment, animals, our bodies. It was fun! My kids enjoyed it!
