Distance - 10km (6.2 miles in length). Directions to Start/Finish Point - Lowe's Super $ave Discount Food Store (formerly Southwest Supermarkets ) located at 5300 Doniphan Dr. From I-10 East or West, take Mesa exit #11. Go west (towards MacDonald's) on Mesa for 0.6 miles. Turn right on Doniphan Dr. and go 0.7 miles to Thorn (second traffic light). Lowe's Super $ave is in the shopping center on the right side of the street. Parking - Please park between Doniphan Drive and the street lights in the parking lot. Start/Finish Times - Lowe's Super $ave is open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm seven days a week. You may register to walk during these hours; however, please walk only during daylight hours. Registration - There is a self-serve case sitting on the far right side of the counter at the Customer Service desk which is located to your far right after you enter the store. Follow the directions inside the case for fees and registration. It should not be necessary to bother any of the store employees. Information - Ransom D. The course is suitable for large- wheeled strollers, but there are a few difficult places. We do not recommend wheelchairs on the course. Trail Description - This walk is in the upper valley on the west side of El Paso. The trail passes along irrigation canals and the Rio Grande river with a view of our beautiful mountains.
