I worked in educational radio and television in India before getting my M.F.A (Cinema-TV) from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. I now produce, direct, and edit documentaries--mostly on South Asian and civil rights issues, often collaborating with my husband writer William Hart. 

I have my own Avid Xpress Pro system on which I have edited a wide variety of documentaries for other producers.  

I do graphic illustrations and photography, and for several years also taught composition and film studies at California State University, Los Angeles.
