He was a man who helped and enriched all the lives around him.  I shutter to think what my own life would be like if he hadn’t been there.  I loved him deeply, he was my grandfather, but he was more then that father, friend, equal, teacher, cohort, I can only hope he is happy and no longer in pain, or suffering from that damn disease.  I will live every day as close as I can to the way he lived, and can only hope that I will one day be even half as great a man as he is.  For as I said to him and know it to be true, I was and in my own heart is a far greater man then I could ever be.
