Complete and Accurate Drawings: The Key to Building a Great Home

When it comes to a custom log home design service, don't compromise the quality of your blueprints. With our in-house drafting department our designers will work for you to prepare the most complete, accurate and detailed set of working blueprints available. Daniel Boone Log Home draftsmen use the latest in computer aided design and visualization technology to create your unique custom log home design. We believe that our award winning custom log home design service to be your best option.

Not to say that you don’t have many choices. You can have your blueprints drafted by nearly any home plan company. (Hopefully they understand log home design and know how to accommodate settling.) While these drawings may be enough to get you a building permit, they are usually missing a substantial amount of information and details that are vital to build your home properly.

Which begs a further question: when you get a quote from a log home builder, is the quote based on what those plans show, or based on what the log builder knows should and will be included? Or will he leave that to be worked out later in the job?     . . . Which will mean a bunch of extra charges that you hadn't budgeted! As you can imagine, other log builders quoting on the same job may make a different guesses, making it virtually impossible to compare the quotes fairly.
