JENNIFER AQUINO grew up in Cerritos,
California. She got her first taste of acting at St. Linus elementary
school in Norwalk; she played the leading role of the Princess in “Beyond
the Horizon.” While attending Whitney High School, she received the Performing
Arts Award. She graduated from the University of California Los Angeles,
where she studied theatre and dance, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Economics. She was a UCLA Cheerleader for three years as a member
of the Dance Team. In addition to cheering for UCLA's football and
basketball teams, she also entered in national dance team competitions.
Jennifer got her first break playing Eolani Jacoby in David Lynch’s television series Twin Peaks. She has performed in various theatres: East West Players, Playwrights’ Arena, Theatre West, The Actors’ Gang Theatre, The Pasadena Playhouse. Her television credits include Titans, City of Angels, JAG, Port Charles, Caroline in the City, Honolulu CRU (ABC pilot with Russell Wong, Michael Rooker, and Lori Petty.) Watch for her in the upcoming independent films The Party Crashers and Screenland Drive in the festival circuit.
She was a founding member of Theatre Geo,
and a previous member of Theatre
West
. She is currently involved with
East West Players
and is an active member of the
EWP Alliance of Creative Talent Services (EWP ACTS),
and Lodestone Theatre
Ensemble
. She has been involved with EWP for the past five years, appearing
onstage in EWP’s production of The Tempest and Cabaret, executive producing
EWP’s 31st and 32nd Anniversary Awards Dinners, the 3rd - 6th Annual EWP
Network Showcases, and serving on the Executive Committee for the EWP Network.
She also has performed in benefits for Amnesty International, Asians for
Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M), Pets Are Wonderful Support for People Living
With HIV/AIDS (PAWS/LA), and the Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event
(STAGE).
UPDATES
Jennifer just finished working on the feature film
ONLY THE BRAVE, a film about the 442nd battalion
during World War II. The film stars Jason Scott
Lee, Mark Dacascos, and Yuji Okumoto. Directed by Lane Nishikawa.
Jennifer just finished a six week run of
the Tony-Award-winning play M. BUTTERFLY at
East West Players in downtown Los Angeles. The play starred
Arye Gross and Alec Mapa. Written by David Henry Hwang, and directed
by Chay Yew.
You can currently hear her voice as the red
head girl, Chelsea in the RUGRATS' animated
television series ALL GROWN UP on Nickelodeon. Thursdays
and Saturdays.
Next up for Jennifer is the feature film
SIXTEEN HOURS OF CORPORATE ANGST, directed
by Akira Nakano. The project begins filming in October on location
in Los Angeles, Maryland, and DC.
Jennifer will also be performing in John
Ridley's play TEN THOUSAND YEARS at the El
Portal Theatre. John Ridley is a producer on THIRD WATCH, and wrote
U-TURN, THREE KINGS, and UNDERCOVER BROTHER. A reading of the play
will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 7:30pm
at the Coronet Theatre in Hollywood.

Jennifer is the lead voice of Catherine Stanfield in Microsoft and Genki's Xbox car chasing combat game "Maximum Chase."
