Greening the burn: We want to collaborate with other camps who are pursuing the goal of greening our presence. We will monitor, measure and document our efforts to reduce use of and waste of resources. The steam bath authority is currently developing educational materials about new technologies such as dog-poo energy sources. We acknowledge that the biggest resource drain related to our festival participation is the transportation to festival sites. That's one of the reasons we like Firefly so much because it is local to us. Yay firefly!











Should SBP have an audio/visual component this season (we think it should eventually)? Please see list of current volunteer tasks (all by individual and/or by committee) listed on this website. One of them is creating audio/visual elements for steam bath project and steam bath camp. You can sign up to document your interest. Please bring prototype or working elements to a work meeting, yo.



One hopeful sign we are happy to post: some of the $410 grant money is being put toward construction of a shower facility for washing all our most special body parts. This is a cleansing site and is intended for its most practical washing benefits. You don't even need to bring your own loofah to wash your feet--SBP will supply you with the creature comforts while using its facilities.
