Doesn't it always start with that "one" special Sheltie? Now we have 9! From taking a Basic Obedience class with my first Sheltie in 1983 to actively competing in Breed, Obedience and Agility, we have come a long way.

I put UD's on our first Sheltie in 1987 and then took a LONG break from competing while building a business. Now we and all the "kids" reside on our 10 acre horse farm in beautiful Marion country. Back to competing in late 1998, we are seen most weekends at dog events. I am also an American Horse Show licensed judge and have officiated at several National Finals all over the U.S., as well as judging in Australia, Great Britian and Canada. Judging weekends definitely cut into the dog showing schedule, so my kids have to show around Mommy earning a living!

Our current group of dogs all have stories as to how they came into our lives and we would miss any one of them if they were not here with us. When not showing themselves, all the kids assist in working the horses and giving riding lessons. That and chasing squirrels (and each other) makes for a happy life here on the farm!
