1 Paint horse (Prior Maborel's Paint Horse) for free: Ask the monks
for assistance before/after locating Martin (and after the amulet has been
taken) but before leaving for the temple when at the Weynon Priori monastery.
2 The Five Riders Stable owner claims that this is his last horse, whether or not this is the case is still not clear.
3 Given by Lucien Lachance after a Dark Brotherhood Quest. Has a moderate attack, decent enough to aide in fighting multiple opponents.
4 It is rideable, has a VERY strong attack. Never draw weapon within sight of it, it will attack regardless if you have ridden it or not.

* Completing the Where Spirits Have Lease quest is needed to properly own the house of Anvil. The manor in Anvil is also haunted. The first time you sleep in the house ghosts will come after you. The house is badly torn up inside and it looks like a pigsty! Once you kill the guy in the secret room (yes the house in Anvil comes with a necromancy inspired secret room complete with all kinds of evil and blood marking on the walls) it turns into an attractive house. Its still a little dark inside, but it has a balcony, and there is a loft office upstairs right off the bed room that looks down to the living room.
** You have to get her disposition to at least 80 to get her to speak about it (use bribery or complete the Canvas 'the Castle' Quest), and there is also a minimum fame requirement. Fame 5 was too low, but at 14 she'd sell it if I had the 20k gold.
*** Quest(s) Required? -- (Edit by Zelath: I am not sure if this is true or not, but when I went to buy it, he mentioned the count. If some quest is required, it could be the Vampire Cure Potion Quest, but I am not sure. It could be that, or because I bribed Shum gro-Yarug until I could no more.)
