OCTOBER 22nd 2000 DEMONSTRATION AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY

The demonstrators assembled at Broadway and Olympic in downtown Los Angeles, marched up Broadway and by city hall, and then it was on to Parker Center, LAPD headquarters. One demonstrator contingent attempted to circle to the rear of the building and were repulsed by police firing rubber bullets. But the demonstrators held firm in front of Parker Center for speeches by relatives of the victims of illegal police shootings. And it all ended up on the news.
