Like the Vortech P-51, this kit has a glass fuse and foam core wings. Unlike that kit, the outline of both the wings and the fuse are very scale. The fuse recreates the look of the P-40B, which has a bigger spinner and smaller engine intake scoop then the somewhat more famous P-40E. I'm glad they did this, because the B model is a sleeker shape, and better suited for a glider. The wings are scale in span (in other words, very stubby!). The airfoil is a very modified SD6060. At the root, it's about 15% thick. This really doesn't seem suitable for a glider, especially one with such a short span. I will probably cut some new cores using the SD3021 for my airfoil. It's a good slope scale airfoil, and the upper surface matches that of the stock wing, meaning it will sit in the wing saddle without modification.
