The quotes around quality indicate sarcasm. I started flying power after about 6 years of slope gliding, and this was my first plane. The kit had typical crappy Global/Hobby Shack quality, with ribs that were very made from poor wood and spar notches that were too small, among other things. Mounting stuff in it was a pain too. The fuel compartment was so tight that I had to put my Rx in the tail in order to fit a 4 oz tank in the nose. I powered this model with an O.S. .15, thinking it would be plenty (after all, it's called the Birdie .10). My plane was really underpowered. In fact, it would barely have enough speed to roll out at the end of an Immelmann. I suppose I might have built it heavy, as it was only my second built-up kit, but I really think this is a .20 size plane. Aside from all this, though, it was a decent flying airplane.
