Our goal at Jackson Oaks Farm is to raise the
best Haflinger pleasure horse possible. To accomplish our goal we select our breeding stock based on temperament, conformation,
movement and soundness. As a result, our foals are intelligent, easy-going, and easy to train. We have chosen breeding
stock with well defined withers set deep into long and sloping shoulders that are matched by long and sloping croups.
This creates a short top line and a long bottom line. We select horses with extended elastic strides and good suspension
in addition to large, hard, round, mostly black or striped hooves.
