Jack Herzig, Esq. - specializing in Immigration and Asylum law
Jack Herzig received his B.A in History at the University of Michigan, graduating with high honors. Later, he received law degrees from Oxford University (1982) and Villanova University School of Law (1985). Following graduation from Villanova, clerked with judges on both state and federal levels. 

In addition to legal work, Mr. Herzig gained exposure to foreign students while teaching English as a Second Language at the American Language Academy. He has done freelance legal research and writing, and has taught as an adjunct professor at Pierce College.

Professional Associations and Admissions include American Immigration Lawyers Association, American and Pennsylvania Montgomery County and Philadelphia Bar Associations, United States Supreme Court (February 1990), District of Columbia (August 1989), Eastern District of Pennsylvania (July 1988), Third Circuit Court of Appeals (March 1987), Pennsylvania Supreme Court (November 1985)

Before opening his own practice, Jack practiced immigration law as a staff attorney for Lutheran Children & Family Service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here he was responsible for handling all immigration cases that come through the agency. He has taken asylum cases from initial client applications through hearings and/or trials. Extensive experience in family practice, including fiance petitions, applications for immediate relatives, applications to register permanent residence, affidavits of support, petitions to remove conditions on residence, and consular processing. He also has experience in cancellation of removal applications, religious worker petitions, refugee adjustments, NACARA adjustments, TPS applications and refugee/asylee relative petitions.
