Jack and I enjoy traveling immensely. We go as often as we can and would go more often if we could, but things do have a way of inhibiting one - baby-sitting grandchildren (which we wouldn't give up for anything), the lack of adequate funds to do whatever and go wherever we want, and just plain keeping up the old homestead. But we are happy to go and do as much as we can while varying our experiences along the way.
I always research the areas where we will be traveling - timely and exciting events, special side trips, and most importantly, restaurants that are not too expensive nor too pretentious, but ones that are unique in what they offer, how they present it, and the general ambiance of the place itself. You will realize what I mean when you visit some of my recommended sites.
Many of the trips we have (or will have) taken are here in California. These include San Francisco, Sonoma County, Central California, and Southern California. There will be mention of travel to other states and other countries.
You will read about ballooning, gliding, and boating. I will include references to other places on the web which will enhance my descriptions. So as I said before:
