There are trails around many Omaha area lakes and former rail corridors available for trail riding if you have your own horse. A few are listed below or check out the Platte River Riders web page below.

• Walnut Creek lake in Sarpy county ( Between 96th and 108 th streets on Schram road )
• Standing Bear Lake ( North of Fort betewwn 132nd and 144 th streets )
