I love all animals and have two dogs: Rufus & Molly. I have a passion for music and my hobbies include singing and playing guitar. I am married to a smart, & talented handyman, and we have three smart and beautiful children. We have one daughter and two sons. I attended the University of Memphis where I earned a bachelors degree in education.  I love learning and knew that continuing that learning through teaching would be fulfilling and rewarding.  In addition to being able to teach the fantastic students of Lakeland Elementary, I get to teach my favorite subjects of math, science and social studies!  My philosophy of teaching is that every child can learn and each child is an individual.  Therefore, education should be tailored to fit the individual student.  In doing so, each student can visualize his or her own goals and acheive them claiming ownership of their successes in the process. Making the most of every minute! What a Life!  I love teaching, learning, living and loving my family and friends.
