Arrangements

The arrangements below deck starting forward Is the chain locker. It is accessible only through a deck hatch. The collision bulkhead forms the aft wall of the chain locker. Right aft of the collision bulkhead is the crew cabin. This cabin is accessible from the deck through the crew house and from the saloon. The area includes a head with shower to port. On passing through a door in the head to starboard one enters the crew sleeping area which contains two bunks. Amenities include a book case at the head of each bunk, spacious bin storage along the entire length of each bunk and a desk that can accommodate a computer. There is a phone jack, cable tv jack, and ac receptacles. Radio from the pilot house is piped to speakers with volume control.

Next aft is the saloon and galley. The first picture here shows the door (right under the overhead fan) that leads to the crew head and cabin. The galley work area is along the entire port side of this cabin. Starting aft the galley has a double sink, next a top loading refrigerator/freezer by Glacier Bay. Next one finds two Force 10 stoves which lets us cook up a lot of food quick with six top burners and two ovens. Above the stoves one finds a micro wave.

On the starboard side of the saloon is a large dining table that will seat sixteen. The seating will also convert to four large bunks.

At the aft end of the saloon one can go up a ladder to the deck or enter a passageway that leads to a foyer for the four staterooms. But lets talk about the passageway just a bit. First there is a nice size shower and next to the shower aft is a head. By closing the door at each end of the passageway one has a very nice size area to take care of some important business. Now as I mentioned the passageway opens into a foyer. And as one looks around the foyer there are doors to the four staterooms. Each stateroom has two bunks, a hanging locker, upper and lower storage lockers, and bin storage the full length of the bunks. There is also a wash basin and mirror.

At the aft end of the foyer there are steps leading up to the pilot house. On entering the pilot house one finds the helmsman's position to the starboard. The helmsman's seat can swivel to face aft and you are sitting at the chart table. Across the port side of the pilot house is a seating area. With large port lights all the way around the pilot house and plenty of overhead hatch ventilation this will be a very nice place to enjoy a day on the water.

Facing aft in the pilot house a ladder allows access up to the deck. Behind the pilot house is the Captain's cabin deck house.

On the forward side of the captain's cabin deck house is a companion way ladder leading down to the captain's cabin. Let us just say we have tried to make the captain's cabin nice.
