worldwide. The collaboration of ISAI and LPS is producing a
new field of sustainable development called Leucaena Effect Agroforestry.
Kenaf Is A Vital Component of Leucaena Effect Agroforestry.
Leucaena leaves have a rich amino acid called mimosine, which prohibit livestock producers from feeding Leucaena alone. It must be mixed with grasses such as Buffel Grass or other non leguminous plant such as kenaf. Because Leucaena is so valuable for livestock feed, the Leucaena Effect Agroforestry developers have pioneered the use of Kenaf, an additional multiple use plant. ISAI is working together with several groups to form the HonduCopa Export and Soccer Tourism Institute (HESTI) a division of the ISAI Academy of Export Tourism. This Learning Center is being designed as a center for skills and information transfer in Export and Soccer Tourism including Leucaena Effect Agroforestry skills. Through HESTI, online courses, on-site courses, interactive distance learning courses, workshops, short courses, seminars, conferences, and symposiums. Skills to be learned include English for Economic Development, sustainable development, halting global warming, agricultural tourism, ecotourism, tropical food production, soccer, Soccer Tourism, Sports Adventure Tourism, Leucaena Effect Agroforestry, Caribbean Basin business, export and international business.
Businesses and government agencies will be provided training in the above skills. International firms will have access to training in how develop joint ventures, participate in Sports Adventure Tourism Business Incubators, SportAvenTour Complexes as well as consortiums to work with the diverse populations in the region. That means that donations of cash as well as equipment, used soccer gear, vehicles, etc., receive a tax deduction from IRS.
