The Winter Pineapple Classic
On November 3, 2008, the Winter Pineapple Classic, a 5k run with obstacles along the course
followed by a Hawaiian luau, took place in Seattle. They also did a post-race Hawaiian luau complete with roasted pig, Hawaiian
entertainment, and a beer garden. This annual event is a fundraiser, with all proceeds going toward the Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society's mission to fund cancer research and assist patients and families fighting Leukemia and other blood cancers. It's
