Ishaq's Celebration of Life was a wonderful experience to organize and host. So many people from all of Ishaq/Daniel's varied and different parts of life were there - around 250 came and celebrated with words, song, prayer and dance.

I wish to thank all of you so much for coming - both the wonderful presenters, the folks who helped before and after with setup and takedown: Qadira and Linda for the flowers, Wayne Omar for bringing the sound system, John Marzicola for doing the recording; Carol Jud, Solala Towler, Sharanam and Heather, Spirit Booth, Ishaq's mureeds, Saladin, Khalil, Basheera, Munira, Lumenesah Tribe, Tony Dandurand, Brian Leeper, Dunyah Gilbertson, Janet Naylor, Hakim, Jemaluddin Heinke, Rahima Sage and Malika Fitch for presenting and/or playing music; Crystal from Unity for her help in organizing the space. And all of you who brought cards and gifts thank you so much, and for the donations that were made to help cover costs.

I am hoping to have much of the first portion of the evening up and available for download from this website (as soon as I learn how to do it!) so please check back to see if that has been accomplished.

Also, if any of you took pictures that could be forwarded to me, either in hard copy or digitally, I'd greatly appreciate it so I could get them up on the website.

Again, thank you all for coming and making this evening so special. If I've missed anyone who did anything, I apologize, and know that you are all in my heart and have my deepest gratitude. Ya Shakur!
