Dam of Champions!

Maria Luisa was foaled in 1952 on the farm of Don Miguel Guevara near Isabella Puerto Rico. Her sire was El Huerlano a palomino by Faraon. Maria;s dam was La Crema sired by Batalla who was a direct son of the DULCE SUENO!

Maria was an albino(or cremello as some claim) with a very unusual personality. She was intelligent and willing and always took care of her rider. She performed equally well in horse shows, mounted drill teams and parades. Maria was small in size with well balanced conformation and had the ability to produce beautiful strong gaited babies with her wonderful disposition.

Captain Ira Meeth and his family brought Maria Luisa to the USA in 1960 along with 2 other albinos,a black and the dazzling palomino stallion Cori which they purchased form George J. LaHood, Jr.

Cori and Maria were bred and this mare that was thought to be barren.. produced Sombre LaCE in 1961, Corito in 1968 and Novita in 1969.

Bred to Triunfo a red chestnut Maria produced Frio Viento in 1970 and Camarad T in 1971. Maria produced Patron de Omega, a buckskin when bred to Singer a bay and when bred to Cantante de Omega a chestnut she gave birth to Tia Maria de Omega a chocolate palomino.

Maria Luisa was one very special lady and we value her bloodlines tremendously!
