History of Our Region
IPMS/USA Region 12 was formed in late 2005 when it was realised that Region 3 had gotten to large for 1 person to organise.
Region 3 at that time consisted of North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
IPMS/USA was formed in the early 1960s by modelers that had heard of the parent organization, IPMS/UK. IPMS/USA has gone
from strength to strenth over the years, and hopefully will continue to do so.

Regional Contests
Bids to host the Regional are due NLT 01 March, ie. for 2009, the bid is due on 01 March 2008.

Region Coordinator
Rick DeNatale was the first Region Coordinator, serving from 2005 to 2007. He instuted a wide array of inovations and
changes to help the Region grow.
Tim Darrah took over as RC in October of 2007 and will continue in Rick's outstanding work.
Tim Darrah is the current Region Coordinator.
