Nature offers a palette of design which inspires my work. My screen-prints begin with documentation of memorable patterns to become works in which color plays a primary
role. Techniques of multicolor screen-printing develop stunning effects that demand
closer inspection.

My screen-prints are hand pulled in editions of fewer than 100. Images are registered to within 1/200 of an inch and imprinted onto acid free, wind-power manufactured papers using hand mixed inks and biodegradable solvents.

Although screen-printing and related stencil-based printing is an ancient art, it has in the recent 45 years devolved into a commercial art that is used primarily in printing t-shirts, freeway signs, and shampoo bottles. My objective in screen-printing is to illustrate the versatility of the medium as a fine art.
