A Language and Literature Specialist

Professor Hubbard, a specialist in European languages and literatures, was born in the United States, but has spent much of his life at schools in France and England. In recent years, the Professor has worked with international relations and has taken a strong interest in political issues and economics.

	The Professor is fluent in English and French and has a working knowledge of Spanish, Italian, and German. Because of his interest in foreign affairs, he has often traveled to Europe and Central America.
	He has spent the last twenty years working as an English language consultant for foreign professionals at Harvard, Tufts, and MIT. In that capacity, he has helped many visiting scholars to publish their papers and to prepare Master's and PhD theses.
	Among his personal interests are architecture, music, and history. He also enjoys good conversation, reading, and fine dining.
