Minutes: November 28, 2006 Integrity / Central Ohio Barley's Restaurant Meeting was called to order at 6:51 PM Members Present: Joel Flint, Mike Wernick, deniray Mueller, Karen Peeler, Rev. Cricket Park, and guests Bob and Mark. After moving our meeting to Barley's restaurant (because Stonewall was closed), we convened for business at 6:53p. We shared blessings and concerns. We discussed details for the Feast of St. Aelred service at St. Patrick's on January 12, 2007:   • we reviewed advertising venues, such as: Gay People's Chronicle, Outlook, Alive, the Lantern, CCAD, OSU, the Diocese of Ohio   • meeting our guest preacher Bruce Garner at the airport and providing transportation   • those who will provide refreshments   • the possible use of a St. Aelred icon   • a subsequent meeting on December 6 to review the hymns and liturgy We discussed our 2007 meeting location. Based somewhat on tonight's experience but also on our financial reserves and the availability of free meeting space, we have decided to hold our meetings at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (30 West Woodruff Ave. Columbus) on the OSU campus' corner of West Woodruff Ave. and High Street. We discussed the possible partnership between Faith in Life and Bexley Hall Seminary, and how Integrity / Central Ohio might inform or assist with those forums if they materialize. We discussed current TEC news, including Presiding Bishop Jefferts Schori's letter to Bishop Schofield re APO. Meeting adjourned at 9:13p. The next meeting will be on January 23, 2007 at 7:00 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Back
