Minutes: October 1, 2007 Integrity / Central Ohio St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Meeting was called to order at 7:10p Members Present: Joel Flint, Mike Wernick, Mike Harbin, Warren MacPherson, Jerry Townsend, Robert Bennett; and guests Bob Roehm, Eric Peters, and Pam Taylor. Robert Bennett, Integrity's Mid-West Regional Vice-President, described the upcoming conference to be held at Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland on October 5-6. Robert discussed the need to secure additional members and the financial resources that will be needed to ensure our goals of inclusion and social justice. We discussed the recent House of Bishop's meeting and the ramification of their response to the Global Primates, and what we could do locally in response to them. We discussed Integrity's presence at the Diocesan Convention to be held in Dayton on November 9 - 10. Integrity / Central Ohio and Integrity Cincinnati will be sharing one booth. Eric Peters posed suggestions about how Integrity might be more actively involved in statewide initiatives that positively affect LGBT people and their families. We elected new officers: President, Mike Harbin; Vice-President, Mike Wernick; Treasurer, Joel Flint; Secretary, Warren MacPherson. Meeting adjourned at 9:15p. The next meeting will be on November 27, 2007 at 7:00 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Back
