Minutes: January 24, 2006
Integrity / Central Ohio
Stonewall Columbus
Meeting was called to order at 6:40
Members Present: Joel Flint, Mike Wernick, Mike Harbin, Warren MacPherson, Robert Bennett; and guests Bob Roehm and John Savage.

We discussed the issues and events leading up to our decision to continue to hold our meetings at Stonewall.

We recapped the events of the St. Aelred service held on January 12 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, and discussed how and whether that service met Integrity's commitment to share in the event cycle with Dignity and Lutheran's Concerned. We decided that it would stand alone independent of these other gatherings. We agreed to contact Dignity and Lutherans Concerned leadership to explore the interest in continuing these annual gatherings for denominational updates and fellowship.

We discussed National Integrity's need to fill Regional Vice-President positions.

We reviewed the information available for volunteer positions with National Integrity at General Convention; referenced the volunteer registration page on National Integrity's website; and our communication with Jane Curry against the chance that those interested in working with National Integrity might contact her or her office.  Jane has agreed to refer such persons to Integrity / Central Ohio or the National Integrity website. Mike Wernick will be working with John Clinton Bradley to assist with some aspects of the board's visit in April and National Integrity's presence at General Convention.

Warren shared an idea about a T-shirt for General Convention: a black shirt with a small picture of Jack and Ennis from Brokeback Mountain; the words "Brokeback Mountain" across the back; and the words "I don't know how to quit you." on the front.

We updated the group with our efforts with the Short North Business Association regarding General Convention's proximity to the Short North, and requesting the Business Association's willingness to welcome the delegates and guests into the Short North.
