1st Motel 2 of 25

	Here I am in my first motel room of the trip. Lamont, CA, a bit South and East of Bakersfield. We rendezvoused in Taft earlier that day, and our plan was to go to Arvin. But there was no motel or park or campground there, and the only place we could find was Lamont, with this motel.
