flashing put behind the deck, and you can see what the outcome is. Whether you are
buying a new or older home, always hire an inspector. The damage on this house could
have been avoided with a $10.00 dollar roll of flashing. The cost of repairs are in the
thousands. Have an inspector look over your house when it is being built to avoid
problems like this. When purchasing a new house you might get a warranty with it, but
damage like this takes years, and your warranty might not still be in affect.
