Imagery and breath inform movement. Microcosmic impulses grow outward, change, and move back inside. Particles in motion describe a path. We follow that path to stillness.

Principles of Suzuki Theatre and dynamic release are utilized to develop a precise and responsive body that balances tension and release.

Often starting with the breath, a workshop with Momo begins in the microcosmos of the body and slowly moves outward. Momo teaches a dance of contradictions. Participants are challenged to attain a balance of energy and serenity... to be a raging storm in blue skies and a breath of calm in the midst of turbulence. The body becomes a conditioned machine, capable of responding quickly and precisely to the environment while at the same time following the internal voices that guide it. Though experiencing an internal development, a workshop participant should also expect to have sore legs the next morning.
