T-Com was dishonest when we set up our home phone service three
years ago. We wanted DSL 2000, the fastest DSL available where we lived. As a result, we were supposed to receive
a free router. We set up that policy and the agreed upon 60 euro was drafted from our account. The next day, ANOTHER
60 euro came out. We called them to ask them what was going on and they said that since DSL 2000 was unavailable, all
we could get was DSL 1000 and this did not come with a free router.
THANKS for telling us that when we signed up, you sheisters!
Which brings me to a tangential problem. Here in Germany, you can either pay
your bank $2 every time you pay each bill and pay the bill by bank draft every month (which would add up to about $12 every
month to pay our bills--that's $144 a year, JUST for the privilege of transferring the bill payment to the utility company
or whoever! Outrageous!) or you can set up a direct draft with the bill company which means they can put their fat,
greasy, greedy, probing fingers in your account anytime they want! Also outrageous!!! This is retarded!
This means everyone ought to have at least two accounts, one that they know the balance on at all times, and one where the
greedy German companies can dip into at their convenience to take out sums that vary from month to month at TIMES that vary
month to month--absurd. This whole country is absurd.
