![]() Harmonically Incorrect began fermenting in late 2002 in the theatre of Glenbard West High School in the western Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn. It all began when David Mackenzie (keyboard, accordion, guitar, vocals) and Dr. Ue Gilbert (guitar) along with their fellow member of the Treeo, Joseph Loffing (vocals, bass, bass drum) decided that instead of banging their heads against the wall all day, they should form a band. They broke into the Glenbard West music scene with a crash landing in the 2003 Glenstock concert accompanied by their quick-witted and mono-rhythmic friend and drummer, Hammy. After a long term of neglected duties, Hammy was impeached from the office of drummer by unanimous vote. Then, in November of 2003, David was approached by Mike (drums) and Darren of Until Sundown fame, and informed that they would be joining the band, whether they were welcome or not. Shortly afterwards, Darren was replaced by the masked wonder who goes by the name of Dr. Crazy (auxiliary percussion). With their combined powers, David, Joe, Mike, and the doctors are able to manufacture a sound that is guaranteed to induce trauma, excitement, nausea, and/or death.
