IMAI - since 1997... a chamber music community for Mount Washington Valley, Northern New Hampshire and Western Maine... July 11 - 20, 2013 - 17th Annual International Musical Arts Institute Summer Chamber Music Concert
Series/Festival Founded in 1997, the
International Musical Arts Institute/Festival of IMAI provides a setting
where young aspiring professional musicians and seasoned artists can work together, share ideas and learn from each other
within an atmosphere of collegiality, guidance and mutual support. We expect more than 30 fine colleague musicians
will be joining us for our 17th season, and all of these fine talented individuals come to the Institute/Festival on an invitational
basis. They are not classified as “students” or “faculty”, since IMAI considers all musicians inherently
to be both students and teachers. In that spirit, IMAI seeks to cultivate an atmosphere of community, cooperation and continuous
development in the quest for musical and artistic excellence. The IMAI Summer 2013 Chamber Music Festival: "Music for Summer Evenings” Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (July 11-20) - 7:30 p.m. - and Wednesday, July 17 Bion Cram Library, Fryeburg
Academy off Bradley Street, Fryeburg, ME The 17th Chamber Music Festival season presents its evening performances series in the spacious and air conditioned reading room of Fryeburg Academy's Bion Cram Library (which is also fully handicapped accessible). Ample parking off Bradley Street. Admission at door - All concerts on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings - $15 for adults, $8 for students and seniors. “Music for Sunday Afternoon” Bion Cram Library An afternoon of chamber music given at the Library at 2 p.m. on July 14. Free to all seniors and to anyone with a mobility limitation. $15 for adults, $8 for students Join us for “Music-in-the-making” Monday, July 15 - 7:30 p.m. - free admission to all Bion Cram Library For anyone and everyone, young and old alike, who would like to be a “fly-on-the-wall”
at IMAI - you are invited to come and listen-in on Monday, July 15, for
an evening of “Music-in-the-making”...a “pot-luck” evening of up-close, behind-the-scene music-making at IMAI, Join us from 7:30 to
