ABOUT ILSE WITTERLAND
Ilse is a healer and artist from the Indonesian island of Java, who expresses a unique combination of Eastern and Western traditions in all of her creative endeavors. As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Practitioner of Structural Integration, Ilse blends her hands-on healing techniques with methods for releasing emotional and physical stress, enabling clients to connect with their feelings and express them in healthy and positive ways.

Ilse was instrumental in creating the Azuar Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting holistic health and wellness education. When she moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 2003, she joined the staff at the Captain Cook Athletic Club as a massage therapist, and founded Azuar Alaska in order to further her work with private clients. When booking a massage at the Athletic Club, be sure to give yourself time to enjoy the other facilities, including the steam room, sauna, swimming pool and exercise equipment.

Ilse resides primarily in Anchorage, Alaska, but often spends time in
Portland, Oregon and offers her massage therapy services there.
