Lindsey - Watts' Celebration 2006

For longer than I care to consider, those of us who grew up together, those who of us who spent every weekend together, stayed at each others homes after and before school, those of us that attended church, school and yes- even played hooky together have seen each other less and less as the years have gone by; often only at funerals and during other tragic circumstances.

Within the past sixty days, Uncle Paul (King), Aunt Francis and Cousin Kyle have all passed.

It was before Kyle's service that the theme developed of "no more reunions at funerals."

Spontaneous, enthusiastic discussions began on having not a reunion, per se, but a "Lindsey- Watts" Celebration - 2006. A gathering of the clan; an event like no other to celebrate life, history and the promise of better days.

For many of us, it will be an introduction to family members never met, for others a chance to reconnect and for some, a chance to heal old wounds.

This blog will become our electronic bulletin board; a place to exchange greetings, information and a funny story or two.
