The KREWE OF KLINGON is a science fiction fan club in the Greater Pensacola and Gulf Coast area. The IKV SHADOWSTORM (Pensacola) started as a KAG group (later IKF), with interests in Star Trek and Costuming. The IKV SHADOWSTORM has been joined by the IKV STORMRUNNER (Navarre), the IKV CRIMSON GUARDIAN (Jacksonville), and the IKV STORMSHADOW (Crestview) which together form the TEMPEST SQUADRON. We have always done some small degree of charity work in our community, either through appearances in costume or more direct hands-on work. Now we have members with far-ranging interests including: Andromeda, Babylon 5, Star Trek, Star Wars, Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, Fantasy, Festivals, and other Social Events. We will have messages, chat, files, photos, bookmarks, database tables, polls and a membership email listing. We also post info and files about our ongoing Decipher Trek RPG game.

Tempest Squadron Expands Krewe of Klingon as Sto-Vo-Kor

Having discussed this possibility for years with senior staff and instead of aligning the Tempest Squadron with another wanting Klingon Organization, we have decided to form our own. From this point forward, we will adopt the name that has been given to us from the Pensacola and Gulf Coast communities, the KREWE OF KLINGON. To separate us from Mardi Gras only functions, we will adopt the organization name of STO-VO-KOR, as we are the Honored Dead of the Klingon Communities.

STO-VO-KOR is defined in the Star Trek Encyclopedia as the "Klingon mythological place of the afterlife for the honored dead. The prophet Kahless the Unforgetable was said to await those who were worthy of Sto-Vo-Kor."

IKV Shadowstorm, Tempest Squadron, & ADM Kestrel Resign from Imperial Klingon Forces

After consulting with the Krewe of Klingon, Tempest Squadron, I have resigned our Squadron, as a whole, from Imperial Klingon Forces. This decision was reached after several threatening messages and harrassment of our membership on the Krewe Yahoo Group. From this point, we will coordinate our own events and write our own destiny. Apparently, the rumors of the behavior ADM Kethas were true.

ADM KyRal met Kestrel at Dragon Con 2002 and offered the IKV Shadowstorm and the Tempest Squadron a welcome position in the Imperial Klingon Forces. KyRal cited our talents not being recognized by KAG nor being put to Good Use!
