The Perfectionist Audio Components Analog Line Cord

Designed to work in conjunction with the PAC IDOS, the PAC ALC is the next step in the fight against digital pollution. The PAC ALC totally eliminates airborne RF interference pickup by AC line cords in close proximity to CD players, D/A converters, DAT machines and other digital devices.

The PAC ALC is designed specifically for use on analog, low level, highly sensitive audio front end components. The unique internal construction and proprietary double shielding technique make it impossible for the cord to either pass RF energy from the AC line or pick up airborne RF radiation from the digital components in the system.

The PAC ALC should not be used on digital devices. The very nature of the design means that all digital noise created by the digital device would be "bottled up" in the unit and forced to travel to the analog components through the interconnecting cables. Digital components should use a line cord which will efficiently pass RF to the PAC IDOS and on to earth ground.

The PAC ALC comes equipped with an IEC "instrument" plug on the component end, a two prong AC plug (to aid in proper polarization), and a "flying" ground lead for connection to one of the chassis screws of the PAC IDOS. Operating instructions are also included.

PAC "ALC" (for low level Analog components)......................$260.00
New "HC-ALC" (designed specifically for Power Amplifiers)............$640.00
