Examining Ecohydrological Feedbacks -- AGU Chapman Conference
October 4-8, 2009
The primary program of next "Chapman Conference" of the American Geophysical Union will be held in Sun Valley, Idaho. A field trip based in Boise is also planned on Oct 4 -- see the "Travel & Venue Details" link for more information.
The purpose of this Chapman conference is to examine the ecohydrological feedbacks of landscape change along elevation gradients in semiarid regions. We will explicitly examine the ecohydrological changes taking place in these landscapes, across elevation and precipitation gradients. Our goal is to help scientists from different disciplinary backgrounds and land managers better understand and address the substantial changes occurring in semiarid landscapes.
