Because the Academy is an affiliate of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS, or "Triple-A-S"), their Annual Conference will always appear in this list. We may also publicize other AAAS workshops or symposia.

Beyond that, the list might include two types of conferences, workshops, etc:
   (1) Events located in nearby states that someone from Idaho might reasonably travel to.
   (2) Events where an Idaho organization is playing some significant role.

Examples of (1) would likely include events in Salt Lake City, Spokane, Jackson, and possibly Bozeman or Missoula.

Examples of (2) would generally involves cases where Idaho entities run a topical symposium or workshop at a national or international conference.

	2009 SEA Northwest Conference and Tradeshow Sept 24-26, 2009 The Structural Engineers Association (SEA) of Washington will present the 2009 Structural Engineers Association Northwest Conference and Tradeshow at Hotel Murano in Tacoma, WA. 	Western States Energy and Environment Symposium October 25-27, 2009 The Wyoming Legislature encourages those actively engaged in western energy and environment policy to attend this symposium at the Teton Village near Jackson, Wyoming. The symposium is designed to be a work session on regional energy issues.
