This six-episode series about our National Parks took over six years to film. A "sneak" preview will be shown from 6-8 pm
at the Coeur d'Alene Hampton Inn & Suites,
1500 Riverstone Drive, Coeur d'Alene. Space is limited so please RSVP (contacts below) by Friday Sept 11.
Directed by Ken Burns and written and co-produced by Dayton Duncan, the series itself will premiere Sunday, September 27,
2009 at 8:00 p.m. on Idaho Public Television.
Filmed in spectacular locales from Acadia to Yosemite, the Everglades of Florida to the Gates of the Arctic in Alaska, the
series celebrates the notion that the most special places in the nation should be preserved, not for royalty or the rich,
but for everyone.
