Introduction to Educational Psychology - Credit by Examination - CLEPThe College Level Examination Program ( CLEP ) is administered by The College Board, which also administers the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). There are currently some 2900 colleges and universities that grant credit based on CLEP exams. Each institution sets its own policy regarding CLEP credit, so you should check with the school you plan to attend for details. Brief test descriptions for these exams are available online, but more detail can be found in The CLEP Official Study Guide 16th ed. Link to these related articles :
First, look at the CLEP Introduction to Educational Psychology Study Guide to get a general idea of the subject matter. Notice that much of the material is similar to that in CLEP Human Growth & Development and DANTES Lifespan Developmental Psychology tests, so you may want to take one of those first. This exam is nearly identical to the DANTES Foundations of Education DSST, and study materials for the two tests can be used interchangeably. Learning Theories : An Educational Perspective |
