2. Restores native Hawaii rainforest! Guava is an introduced exotic plant in the Hawaiian islands. It's rapid over-shadowing growth makes it difficult for native Hawaiian forest plants to reproduce themselves. By selectively harvesting Guava we actually give the Hawaiian forest plants a fighting chance.
3. Returns funds to local Hawaiian conservation groups that are working hard to save the remaining endemic plant and animal species of the islands. We donate 10% of our net profits to groups such as the Hawaiian Audubon Society and the Nature Conservancy.
