Performances

The Hunter Marionettes have delighted audiences from concert halls to grade schools, from retirement homes to preschools. Accompanied by music ranging from classical to lively dance tunes, each member of this cast of intricate, hand-crafted marionettes will entertain you with his or her own special talents. In a typical performance, you'll see a penguin try his luck on the flying trapeze. You'll see an ostrich attempt to fly. You'll see dancing and juggling and much much more.

What Others Have Said:
You were phenomenal! Families were amazed and delighted by your marionettes.
- Ashley Duffalo, Family Programs Manager, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota
The marionettes were beautiful, the show was wonderful and the children
were entranced. We were pleased that you could share your artistry with us as we try
to build a new audience for puppetry in the area. You are always welcome back.
- Deanne Wortman, Iowa City Public Library
Everybody loved it. I just don't know who loved it more, the adults
or the kids.
- Christmas party sponsor
The program of marionettes and puppets was unique and remarkable. It
provided the kind of delightful entertainment that enthralled the youngest child and the
oldest person alike. Your original creations stimulate the imagination and child in
us all.
- Rev. Lyle Christianson
Last time I came for them. This time I came for me.
