Happenings

This is where I am going to record some of what is going on with my cattery and with my cats. They aren't very detailed yet. I'm not used to writing things down on a website.

11/18/01- Got Midnight (black furry cat)

12/13/01- Got Rudi

1/21/02- Confirmed Mating Between Rudi and Lupi

1/--/02- Definite Signs of Pregnancy (Lupi)

1/21/02- Confirmed Mating Between Rudi and Lupi

2/9/02- Definite Signs of Pregnancy

3/12/02- Lupi got ultrasound for her abdomen

3/14/02- Got Lupi's abdomen ultrasounded again and got both tape of and pics of babies (four babies are expected)

3/25/02- Four kittens were due

3/28/02- Seven kittens were born

3/31/02- Most of the kittens unbilical cords are out and kitten # 6's eyes are open.

4/01/02- All kittens eyes are open

4/03/02- Named kittens

4/05/02- Fang (kitten # 5) passed away

4/12/02- All kittens except for Iodine got their first bath

4/29/02- Saw kittens eat solid food for the first time

4-5/30-10/02- Kittens are growing up so fast. They're now using litter box a lot better and they're eating like little piggies. Still nursing on Lupi, but also eating canned and dry cat food. They are tearing my room to shreds. But that's o.k. for now, because they're so cute!

5/13/02- Kittens can now jump up on my computer and my bed. So now they're more able to destroy things. I bought a camcorder so I can tape their antics and put them on this website to show the world how darling they are. Now if I can only figure out how to use it...

6/15/02- Orion went home with my friend Alison. I can't think of a better home for my baby.

6/16/02- Decided to keep Iodine. I don't want to sell her and then regret it forever afterwards. Iodine has always been my favorite, right from the beginning.

7/21/02- A nice family from Birmingham came and took Duggle home. He's going to a great home with two wonderful boys. I'll miss him immensly. It was so hard seeing him go.
