These pictures were made before mip-mapping, depth attenuation,
and surface waves were implemented.
The pictures above demonstrate on-the-fly CSG.
Starting with the scene on the left, the cylindrical tunnel
was simply rotated to obtain the scene on the right.
Moving a brick column into the water to demonstrate refraction
