Services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, in the Bogata United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Bush officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Paris by Wood Funeral Homes of Bogata. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Canfield was born Oct. 5, 1900, in Lamar County, a daughter of Joe Martin and Ophelia Arnold Rodgers. She married Dick Scott July 12, 1919. He died Feb. 18, 1957. She married Stephen Canfield Sep. 14, 1982, and he died Aug. 31, 1992. She was a member of the Bogata United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Bee Scott of Athens; two daughters, Juanita Cremeen and Marie Brumley, both of Leakey; a sister, Beatrice Kennemer of Paris; an adopted brother, Leo Rodgers of Paris; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Jack Dodd, Bunky Smith, Howard Bryson, Tommy Corbll, Jeff Puckett and James Wood. Honorary bearers will be members of Dr. Miller's Sunday School Class of Bogata United Methodist Church.' This is also entered under surname Rodgers.
