Disaster-related Listservs
This page has information on joining four different Disaster Mental Health listservs. The first, which I have called the "International Disaster Mental Health listserv" because it has a membership from around the world. The second one is the Compassion Fatigue listserv created by the developers of the Accelerated Recovery Program for Compassion Fatigue.
The other two are for DMHS team members of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross (and the West Los Angeles Service Center of that chapter). Membership in either of these listservs is open ONLY to team members. If you are interested in starting your own listserv for your team, please visit the eGroups website.
If you are a licensed mental health professional in the Los Angeles area and are interested in becoming involved with American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Services, please email me at hopefull@earthlink.net .
