Readability Issues

The materials presented here are educational in nature and are not intended as a substitute for qualified psychotherapeutic assistance. If your struggle (with ANY of your current issues) persists, I strongly recommend that you seek assistance of a qualified mental health professional in your area. My "TherapistFinders" page contains information and links that will assist you in finding a therapist in your area. If you live inside California, there are also links that will assist you in understanding the differences between the different mental health licenses within this state.

In case of emergency... please read:

If you are in crisis, please call one of the hotlines listed on my Hotlines page for more immediate intervention. If you are in danger of hurting yourself or someone else, call 911 immediately.

READABILITY ISSUES:

For Small Screen Users: Those of you who have small monitor screens may find the frames of this page difficult to work with. To make it easier for you, I have provided a direct link to the contents page which will open that the Table of Contents in a new window. Click this text: Table of Contents

Print Size/Readability: Many users apparently do not realize that the size of the print is adjustable inside the browser and is NOT directly controlled by me. If you are finding that the print is very thin and difficult to view, you probably need to increase it's size. To increase the display size of your print, look for these options on your browser's drop-down menu -- in Netscape you will find "Increase Font" and "Decrease Font" on the EDIT menu at the top of the screen. (Note that you will have to first click anywhere in the frame you want to increase before using this feature.)

(Other browsers may display this option in other locations. If you have difficulty finding it, seek assistance using the Help Menu or call the developer of your browser.)
